For some Tribes, Spider represents Grandmother. She is the link to the past and to the future. Grandmother Spider kept and taught the mysteries of the past and how it affects our future.
Spider is the master weaver. It teaches us that everything you now do is weaving what you will encounter in the future.
Spider reminds us to awaken to our own sensibilities, to be more creative in our lives. Spider teaches us to maintain a balance between the past and future, learning to manifest our lives in the Now! Balancing us between male and female, the physical and the Spiritual.
Spider found within the web reminds us that we are the center of our own Worlds and Universe. “Know thyself and thou shall know the Universe.” Reminding us that our world is woven around us. We are the keepers and the writers of our own destiny, weaving it like a web by our own thoughts, words, feelings and actions in each successive moment of Now…
Spiders are very delicate. They are a combination of gentleness and strength and have learned to combine both for successful survival.
Spider can teach us how to use the written language with power and creativity so that your words weave a web of understanding around those who would read these words.
If Spider has come into your life, ask yourself some important questions. Are you not weaving your dreams and imaginings into reality? Are you not using your creative opportunities? Are you feeling closed in or stuck as if trapped in a web? Do you need to pay attention to your balance and where you are walking in life? Are you inspired to write or draw or create through art and not following through?
It is time to awaken!
